- With registrations (max 50 participants): Skills such as Project Management, adaptability, communication, and business awareness are essential for successful career entry. In this workshop, we will be looking closer into one key skill: Project management and the qualifications most frequently sought by employers.

Career Fair Preparation Session
- Date: 21 May 2026
- Time: From 16:30 to 18:00
- Format: Hybrid
This session prepares students for the GGG Career Fair on 28 May (BSBI, GISMA, UE). It focuses on how to approach career fairs in Germany as networking opportunities, and covers key preparation before, during, and after the event (research, CV & LinkedIn, networking, follow-ups).
This is a registration-only session, open to students across BSBI, UE, and GISMA (online/in-person).
Navigating European Business Cultures: Employability Essentials for International Students

Workshop Objective
The session aims to provide participants with a clear understanding of workplace etiquette in France, Germany and Spain, enabling them to confidently navigate different professional cultures.
Why This Matters
Cultural differences in the workplace can lead to misunderstandings if not properly understood. International students, in particular, may unintentionally appear unprepared or impolite. This workshop is designed to help participants avoid such challenges and build strong, professional relationships across cultures.

Key concepts of time management, punctuality, and workplace expectations
Understanding hierarchies and professional structures
Norms around personal space and communication styles
Cultural comparisons with common student home countries
Practical Skills Development
How to behave effectively in meetings and negotiations
Essential etiquette, manners, and cultural taboos in each country
Insights into what motivates and demotivates colleagues in cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, Hamburg, and Paris
