UE Expands Strategic Academic Partnerships in Pakistan
The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) has strengthened its international academic footprint by signing three new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading universities in Pakistan. The agreements mark a significant step in deepening institutional collaboration between Germany and Pakistan in research, innovation, and applied education.
Two MoUs were signed by Prof. Dr. Talha Ali Khan, Vice President of Research and Program Leader of the MSc Data Science, with NUCES FAST (Islamabad Campus) and Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET). These partnerships establish a strategic framework for joint research initiatives, academic exchange, student progression pathways, and cooperation in innovation-driven, practice-oriented learning. A third agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Raja Hashim Ali with Abasyn University in Peshawar, further expands UE’s interdisciplinary and long-term engagement in the region.
“These partnerships go beyond formal agreements,” emphasized Prof. Dr. Talha Ali Khan. “They represent a shared commitment to advancing knowledge through collaborative research, fostering innovation ecosystems, and empowering students and faculty to address complex global challenges. By connecting academic excellence across borders, we are building sustainable bridges that will generate lasting intellectual, societal, and economic impact for both countries.”
